These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the R3 Retreats website (https://r3retreats.com) and your participation in R3 Retreats programs. By using the website or enrolling in a program, you agree to these terms.
R3 Retreats provides structured wellness retreat programs that are educational and experiential in nature. Our programs are not medical treatments, psychotherapy, counselling, or clinical services of any kind. No licensed healthcare professionals provide services in the context of R3 Retreats programs.
No outcome guarantees: R3 Retreats makes no representations or warranties about the outcomes, results, or benefits of participating in any program. Individual experiences vary, and we do not claim that participation will produce any specific physical, psychological, emotional, or behavioral change.
Enrollment in any R3 Retreats program is subject to availability and our intake assessment process. We reserve the right to decline or defer enrollment if we determine that a program is not appropriate for an applicant's current circumstances. This decision is made in good faith and is non-negotiable.
Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of a completed registration form, completed intake information, and payment (or agreed deposit). Program spaces are not held without confirmation of payment.
Participants are required to disclose any physical or mental health conditions that may be relevant to their participation. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in removal from a program without refund if the undisclosed condition creates risk for the participant or others.
If you are under the care of a physician or mental health professional, we recommend obtaining their guidance before enrolling in any program.
Participants are expected to respect the quiet and shared nature of the retreat environment. Behavior that significantly disrupts other participants or is deemed unsafe by our team may result in a participant being asked to leave the program. In such cases, our standard refund policy applies.
Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, R3 Retreats, its staff, and facilitators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in our programs or use of our website.
Our total liability for any claim arising from participation in a program shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant for that specific program.
R3 Retreats is not liable for any adverse physical or psychological effects experienced by participants, except where directly caused by our gross negligence.
Some programs involve outdoor activities including walking on uneven terrain. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of the activities described in their chosen program. R3 Retreats carries liability insurance for its outdoor activities, and all outdoor programs are led by staff with appropriate certifications.
All content on the R3 Retreats website — including text, images, and program materials — is the property of R3 Retreats or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the website, access data not intended for you, or use the site for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our website or enrollment in programs after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on our website.
